The DRAFT LEAGUE is where everyone signs up as a FREE AGENT and captains will draft teams in a snake draft format.

CGVA OFFICIAL RATINGS & DIVISION SYSTEM OVERVIEW
RATED & UNRATED players can register.
Whether you have an official rating, provisional rating, or no rating at all, anyone can register. You will be asked a series of questions that will help the Captains draft all players accordingly.

League Length:
Sundays - Up to 13 weeks
11 weeks of pool play
2 weeks of Tournament Play

Sunday, September 8th
This play is strongly recommended for all players, captains will be drafting teams by the end of this open play. It is a mandatory session for captains and players who are unrated and wish to play in Yellow, Orange, or Red. If you are a player who falls into this category and you are not able to come to Draft Night email Ray (ray@cgva.org) and Ryan (ryan@cgva.org).
POOL PLAY:
Sundays, September 15th - December 1st
TOURNAMENT PLAY:
Sundays, December 8th & 15th
Cost:
$105 per person paid at time of registration. No refunds will be issued after September 8th at 12:00 pm for any reason.
Roster Format:
6x6 any gender combo.
Play Format: (Play format is subject to change based on turnout)
2 Matches, 2 games per match. Total of 4 games per night.
Each match a team will be reffing.
Scores played to 21, with a cap of 23 points.
Match Times: (Times are subject to change based on turnout)
Sessions will include 3 teams on each court. Two playing and one reffing.
Forfeits are 15 minutes after start time.
Games begin at 6:45pm. If enough teams register, we may have a second session at 9pm
SESSION 1 ROTATION:
6:40pm --- Doors Open
6:40pm - 6:50pm --- Warmup
6:50pm - 7:25pm --- Match Rotation 1
7:25pm - 7:30pm --- Break
7:30pm - 8:05pm --- Match Rotation 2
8:05pm - 8:10pm --- Break
8:10pm - 8:45pm --- Match Rotation 3
8:45pm - 8:50pm --- Promptly leave court for next session games.

8:50pm - 9:00pm --- Warmup
9:00pm - 9:35pm --- Match Rotation 1
9:35pm - 9:40pm --- Break
9:40pm - 10:15pm --- Match Rotation 2
10:15pm - 10:20pm --- Break
10:20pm - 10:55pm --- Match Rotation 3
11pm --- Doors Close
