Josh grew up in Arvada, Colorado and has always loved sports. He didn’t start playing volleyball until college, but quickly fell in love with the sport. Upon returning to the Denver metro area after college in 2017, Josh searched out gay volleyball leagues and quickly joined CGVA. Shortly after that, he joined the CGVA board and became President Elect in 2018 and President in 2019. Since then he has helped put on countless clinics, social events, and local tournaments with the league. Josh currently chairs the tournaments committee in addition to the president role. (edited)

Jeremy is an avid volleyball player – He’s been playing in the CGVA league for about the last 12 years and has been an active board member for the last 6 years (currently serving as Vice President, and previously as Treasurer). He is passionate about the league and the sense of community that it provides its players and volunteers his time on the board to help give back to this community. When not playing volleyball (which he does several times a week), he enjoys anime, board games, breweries, pickleball, and most anything that keeps him active.

Eric is originally from Los Angeles and started playing volleyball in high school; he was relatively short so he decided to be a setter. And the rest is history! Eric played club volleyball in college at the George Washington University in DC, and after graduating he played in DC's Pride Volleyball League (DCPVL). He went to graduate school in NYC and played for a season in their Gotham league as well. Eric moved to Denver in the summer of 2021 and has played with CGVA ever since. Eric works for the US Forest Service in its Office of International Programs, working on issues related to combatting illegal logging and other environmental crimes in Latin America.

Hi, my name is Ray. I'm originally from NYC. I'm super passionate about volleyball with 20 years under my belt as well as coaching those who really want to improve their game. A few of my other favorite things include rock climbing, video games, chocolate ice cream, and DOGS!

Kaleb has been part of CGVA since 2016 and on the board since 2020. Kaleb has been interested in helping an LGBTQ organization and be involved in making a safe place for the community. Outside of Volleyball Kaleb is a giant nerd interested in fantasy novels, board/video games, and likes to try on any new adventure. Kaleb works as a consultant pharmacist across the country and is more than willing to help answer medical questions as they arise or find you someone that can help. He is very grateful for this community and each individual in it.

Hi! I'm Diana. I've been playing volleyball since high school and in a variety of drop-ins, pickup games, and rec leagues since then. CGVA is my favorite so far! I'm glad to give back to this community by serving on the board. I work at an education-focused non-profit for my day job. I also love playing tennis, playing board games, and cooking. Hi, I'm Matt! I joined CGVA recently at the start of 2024 as my first time playing competitively, and I've been hooked since. I'm passionate about building and deepening our community, especially by welcoming and developing new players. Outside of CGVA, I work as a software engineer.
